Sugar Crazy

Sugar Crazy is part candy store, part craft kit and toy store, and part camp store. Given the pandemic they also have a large assortment of fun masks and hand sanitizer. I stopped by because they have a small selection of nut free candy and ice cream (A La Mode). The majority of the nut free candy is from No Whey! (which is free of many other Top 8 allergens) and Sweeties Candy Cottage (these items are labeled with "NUT FREE FACILITY"). The A La Mode ice cream is separate from the rest of the ice cream and they use separate scoopers. In terms of selection/availability, they offer all of the typical nut free flavors (partly cloudy, cooks, speed bump, etc). Prices are pretty typical for allergen-free products: more than what you'd pay for other candy. Will definitely keep stopping by for my nut free items!

As the girlfriend of an employee that used to work there, i sure hope Jamie and Bryan aren't still in charge! Very nasty and encouraged the employees to have relations with each other. Very unprofessional. I used to go to this place all the time and even then i hated the pricing, management, and staff. I felt uncomfortable the whole time i was in there. Got dirty looks from the little girl staff cause i was the girlfriend of an employee. 0/10 recommend working there or going in at all. And PS.getting rid of the ice cream was the worst thing they could do!!! i dont care how late my review is either.

NASTY NASTY STAFF!!!! They do not enforce any store policies and they favor some customers over others. People push and shove and rip toys out of children’s hands and staff do NOTHING. Nothing done to prevent young women from shoving elderly. Sugar CRAZY is right, it is very very crazy in here… nothing done to enforce line cutting. Staff are just so so rude and not understanding, all they care about is money, hence why they overprice their products. It is like Black Friday everyday, without the deals. My daughter is developmentally disabled and I unfortunately can not get her any of the toys she wants because they are hard to find and this is one of the only locations that carries them, but staff allow trampling and rule breaking, so she can not get these toys that will help her regulate her emotions. Very sickening..

What an awesome store!! With this new fidget craze with the kids, this is the place to go! Aside from every kind of candy you can imagine and ice cream and clothing and masks and novelty items, the fidget toy selection is second to none!! It’s definitely a little tight to walk around but only because they have so much to offer! The staff was very helpful and eager to help. Loved it! My daughter is making plans with her friends to go back!

UPDATE ON MY REVIEW!! a friend of mine messaged the business on instagram about an issue of people cutting the lines, instead of dealing with the issue in a proper manner they excused it by saying they can’t “police the rules” & they BLOCKED her account. that’s not how you run a business. when you disappoint a customer you fix the problem, you don’t run away from it. I truly don’t know where to start with my review. first of all, i took the time to read what other people had to say & a lot of people said that they bought stale items, so did I. the fact that this is a pretty often occurrence makes me upset. second of all, the items are overpriced & mediocre. things that would cost me 5 dollars to make myself in high quantities are selling for 15 for a tiny batch. ridiculous. also the squishmallows are insanely pricey, & the fact that they only put out a couple of each at a time makes me upset. the employees will let people get away with things& not others, & many are rude. coming here is not so pleasant for me :/
